British Ski Boat Drivers Award

Ultimate Water Sports is the only British Water-Ski Approved Ski School and Ski Boat Driver Award Training and Test Centre in N.Ireland.

On this course you will be instructed and tested in basic boat handling and the driving of boats for water skiing. All candidates under take a written and practical test. You must be over 16 years of age.

International Certificate Of Competence

This certificate is required to operate small pleasure craft in Europe.

RYA First Aid

In a medical emergency a little first aid knowledge and immediate action can save lives, especially in remote locations.

This one-day course is designed to provide a working knowledge of first aid for people using small craft and to support skippers. It fulfils the requirements for professional skippers of small craft working within 60 miles of a safe haven. The course is MCA and HSE approved, and satisfies the requirements of some categories of commercial work afloat.

Marin Radio Operators Short Range Certificate

The Short Range Certificate (SRC) is the radio operator qualification, which authorises the holder to operate a VHF Radiotelephone, fitted with Digital Selective Calling (DSC) on board any vessel, which is voluntarily fitted with radio equipment. If you own a marine radio handheld or fixed set, you are required by law to hold an operator’s licence. Learn the procedures for operation and gain the qualification on this one-day examined course.

RYA Level 1 & 2 POwerboat Course

We are an accredited RYA training establishment and pride ourselves upon on vast knowledge and experience. We teach the RYA power boating levels one and two, or for the experienced helmsman offer the RYA direct power boating assessment. We have a range of vessels in which we can instruct you.

PWC / Jet Ski Courses

We offer the RYA Personal Water Craft Course, where you will lean the characteristics, of the craft, driving regulations, craft handling techniques and gain the RYA personal water Craft Qualification. We will gladly sign your voucher for you (if you have one) on completion of the course to enable you to a £50 cash back fee from Yamaha for undertaking the course.
